Born and raised in the island of Tahiti, Yann has a Msc in oceanography. For a few years now, one of his main centers of interest is the link between the ocean and the indigenous people of the Pacific. After three years spent working with the local Department of Marine Resources, he joined in May 2023 the Rāhui Center as a project manager.
