Pascal is Polynesian and has lived for a long time in the Tuamotu Archipelago to pearl farm. The isolation of these islands has allowed him to acquire an unprecedented adaptability. These are the skills and know-how that he makes available to the CRIOBE research teams, where he has been a technician since 2004. He is in charge of the maintenance of the center structures, buildings and various equipment.
Pascal provides technical assistance to the Rāhui Center in various field missions. For example, he participated in the study on sedimentation rates that we conducted around the Tahiti peninsula by setting up and collecting sediment traps as well as collecting water samples.
